Ellipse Fitness will celebrate its fifth anniversary by welcoming nationally renowned speaker and Ellipse nutrition program creator Lucho Crisalle. He will conduct a fitness and nutrition seminar entitled "Demystifying Nutrition" on Sat., Sept. 15 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Fox Valley Technical College located at 1825 N. Bluemound Dr. in Appleton, Wisc. Crisalle, CEO of Exercise & Nutrition Works located in Calif., will discuss a variety of topics including Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), which is the study of how what we think and say directly affects how we act. He also will explain how carbohydrates, proteins and fats react and are processed in our bodies. His message will include how a person is never too old to reach his fitness and nutrition goals.

Crisalle is certified as both a hypnotherapist and a Hemispheric Integration and NLP Master Practitioner. He earned a bachelor's degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition and Dietetics with a minor in Exercise and Sports Sciences from the University of Florida in Gainesville.

Founded in 2002 by owners Shana Conradt and Lisa Welko, Ellipse Fitness offers personalized fitness programs in a classes-only club. Seven daily classes, which focus on boot camp, kickboxing and muscle sculpting, are combined with an individualized nutritional program to ensure weight and body fat loss. There is one Ellipse Fitness located in Allouez, one in Waukesha, and three in Appleton, Wisc.
