Located in Southern California, Bestswimwear.com president, Claude Dauman has experienced a number of earthquakes himself. "It is extremely difficult to fathom the intensity of a 7+ earthquake lasting over two minutes," stated Dauman. "I believe that we are only beginning to understand the true magnitude of this disaster."

Bestswimwear.com president, Claude Dauman went to The Supply Sergeant, a local military surplus store, to personally purchase cases of U.S. Military MRE's (meals ready to eat) and potable drinking water packets, which are being sent to Peru.

Bestswimwear.com does business with swimwear manufacturers all over the world. One of their suppliers, Aquaclara, has a factory in Lima Peru. Claude emailed the president of the Aguaclara Swimwear, to offer assistance, and he was kind enough to provide an address in Miami where aid can be sent to for immediate reshipment to Peru. Dauman hopes that more businesses and individuals, will offer aid to the victims of this horrific disaster.
