Publish Date : 9/4/2007 3:50:00 AM   Source : Fitness News Onlypunjab.com

Why am I always so tired? This is a question that I hear often and from a lot of people. It's not surprising that I get asked this question more often than not with the plague of tiredness which is sweeping the United States, Canada, and Western Europe. over 25% of people claim to be constantly tired. Others are spending their days feeling exhausted.

There are a lot of misconception regarding tiredness and its causes. In fact, most people could improve how they feel during the day if they only new the real facts and acted on them.

Here are 3 common myths on tirednes:

1. Sleeping more hours makes you less tired - This is one of the biggest mistakes people make. It's simply not true that the more you sleep the less tired you'll feel. Some people get by on just 4 hours a day and do just great. Overall, it's best to sleep in 90 minutes increments so sleeping for 8.5 hours is not as good as sleeping 7.5 hours.

2. Taking a nap will make you less tired - This is not always true. It all depends on how you nap. Some people take too long naps and it ruins their sleeping routine. Ultimately, it causes them to be more tired.

3. Coffeee makes you less tired - This is a huge myth and a destructive one. Coffee may make you feel more energetic for a short time, but in the long run it will now solve your tiredness problems. In fact. the longer you drink coffee the more of it you'll need for it to have any effect on you.

There are many myths about tiredness. These are the top 3. Now that you know them, you can start to take real action to end your tiredness problems.
