While it safe to assume that passing out blood while stooling is not indicative of bloody constipation, it can be said that if all the preceding symptoms look like that which occurs with constipation, -nausea, pain in the lower abdomen, increased bloating of the abdomen, headaches, and loss of appetite- then it could be a bloody constipation.
Bloody constipation which is also popularly known as Hemorrhoids is mostly caused by the swelling of the veins in the anus which is in turn caused by the intense straining needed during the course of passing out dry, hard stool. This is not to say that passing dry, hard stool will result in bloody constipation. Most times, it is a case of short term constipation which will roll over in a short while. But if bloody constipation occurs, it means the case of constipation is very acute and can result in various negative, long term effects. Bloody constipation is more likely to be caused by what is known as Fecal Impaction
Fecal Impaction occurs when the lower part –bottom- of the large intestine and rectum is blocked. This happens as a result of the drying up of stool which hardens into a fecal impaction to the extent that no waste can be excreted beyond the point of impaction. Therefore, to pass feces, an individual would have to strain more and more with less of the feces being passed. The result of the continuous straining is bloody constipation.
Ultimately, this may result in the complete blockage of the rest of the bowels and the only thing passed out when stooling is a milky substance. To effectively eliminate this and clean out the whole system, the intestine and bowels would have to go through what is called Colon Cleansing.
Bloody constipation may also be caused by rectal bleeding. This is usually caused by the straining of the anal muscles leading to the tearing of tissues situated in the anus. This tearing is very painful during stooling and is what causes blood to be excreted.
Lastly, bloody constipation may be the result of a polyp or colon cancer. While polyps are not initially cancerous but just grow in the colon until they start bleeding, it is possible for them to result in colonic cancer.
Therefore, it recommended that bowel cleansing be frequent as this prevents the occurrence of bloody constipation. However, Bloody Constipation can be cured using Colon Sweep. It completely, heals and cleanses you of all forms of hemorrhoids.
