Ellsworth Bikes, Ergon Bike Ergonomics and Team Mata have announced the launch today of a new consumer promotion centered around Monique "Pua" Sawicki's attempt to win the World title at the 24 Hours of Adrenalin Solo World Championships, entitled "Pua's Pit Contest". More than $8,000 dollars worth of bike products will be awarded to the winner, centered around an Ellsworth Enlightenment Hard tail Frame Scandium w/carbon rear, laser etched with Pua's logo on the top tube. Ergon grips, $500 travel money to attend the Championships and nearly 20 additional biking items will go to the winner, including Maxxis tires, Adidas Eye-wear, Solomon footwear, Magura Marta SL brakes, even two months 'Beyond The Race' training with Pua's Coach, Brand Grove M.D.

Tony Ellsworth, President of Ellsworth Handcrafted Bikes, said Ellsworth is excited to be involved. "Pua has set the bike world on its ear with her accomplishments in the past year," Ellsworth said, in a phone interview from his factory in Ramona, California. I hope her ultimate fan leaves Monterey in September with this prize package spearheaded by Team Mata."

The Pua Pit Contest requires that entrants write a letter telling Pua why you should be the newest member of the team, be able to attend the 24 Hours of Adrenalin Solo World Championships from August 31st to September 2nd, 2007, and agree to all rules and regulations on the contest webpage, Pua's Pit Contest Online.
