"With so much information out there," says concerned baby boomer and site founder Mike Hepburn, "and with the state of the health care industry today, we felt we needed to provide a platform to identify, screen and endorse specific alternative natural health techniques, health professionals and products that the members say really work, as well as facilitate the sharing of experiences and opinions."

Hepburn says a significant portion of the membership dues are to be returned to members through product and shipping subsidies. He also has a charitable donation program in which he intends to help the worlds most under-privileged children through the World Vision Program.

Hepburn will create and maintain a database of member input from the discussion board and the professional interviews. He will also publish a bi-monthly newsletter, with an on-site catalogue of back-issues. The site will also feature informational articles, some of which are submitted by contributing health care professionals that also do the interviews. Discounted or free e-books on issues relating to alternative natural health, green planet saving ideas and breakthrough techniques.

Hepburn's background is in printing, marketing, research and a passion for improving the planet and peoples health. He has future plans to travel to various parts of the world to research how some countries are dealing with health and green related issues, particularly locations that are experiencing success.
