Irell & Manella’s Juliette Youngblood to be Featured Speaker

Juliette Youngblood, Chair of the Entertainment Practice Group at Irell & Manella LLP, will be a featured speaker at the ‘What’s Cooking in Hollywood’ seminar Saturday, December 11, 2004 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at The Biz in Santa Monica, California. Ms. Youngblood’s group at Irell & Manella handles the creative transactions for Mark Burnett Productions including work on “The Apprentice,” “The Contender,” “Survivor,” and “Rock Star.” Distinguished as a leading lawyer in the entertainment field by the internationally recognized publication, Chambers & Partners, Ms. Youngblood will discuss a number of entertainment law topics including: traditional rights acquisitions and issues; writer contracts — feature writers; high tech deals; unusual intangible properties; and clearance issues.

About Juliette Youngblood Juliette Youngblood is Chair of the Entertainment Practice Group at Irell & Manella LLP. Specializing in entertainment and intellectual property matters in the motion picture, television, multimedia and advertising industries, Ms. Youngblood represents a wide variety of entertainment companies in all matters related to the development, production, financing and distribution of motion pictures, television productions and integrated marketing campaigns. She has extensive experience in rights acquisition, the development of theatrical and television motion pictures, and represents a number of studios such as Paramount Pictures Corporation, MTV, MGM, Nickelodeon and LucasFilm in connection with such matters.
