This is not a business funda by Tom Peters or
Donald  Trump, but it will surely take you places, if you are  an
ambitious  businessman.  Taking a cue from  speed  dating  "speed
networking"  which  allows  businessmen to  spend  two  or  three
minutes  in  each other's company before moving on  to  the  next
person  is the new mantra in town specially with business  people
and new university graduates of the internet generation.

"The  point  is to very quickly increase the number  of  business
contacts you have. If you go to a normal networking event you are
not  going to speak to more than five or six people in an  hour,"
Mike Segall, managing director of Speed Networking was quoted  as
saying by The Independent.

And  according  to Kevin Steele, chief  executive  of  Enterprise
Insight,  a  government-backed  initiative  to  encourage   young
entrepreneurs,  "The emerging generation of people in their  late
teens and early twenties are the most networked in history.  They
operate  very naturally in this way much more than  any  previous
generation."
