Superman voted greatest superhero of all time

A poll conducted by UCI cinemas for the most
popular fictional superhero of all time has been topped by comic
book hero, Superman.
4,985 cinemagoers were surveyed to mark the release of the
Disney-Pixar animated film The Incredibles. Spiderman came
second, Batman third, The Hulk fourth and Mr Incredible fifth
respectively. "Superheroes have often been favourite characters
in the movies.
Superman is the original and best Man of Steel, a
character close to the hearts of kids young and old. Christopher
Reeve - who himself became a hero to many with his remarkable
courage and spirit - reminds us just how much we enjoyed the
character he played," a UCI spokeswoman was quoted as saying.
Others who made it into the top 10 included Daredevil, Wolverine
of the X-Men and the Ninja Turtles.
The top five were:
1. Superman
2. Spider-Man
3. Batman
4. The Hulk
5. Mr Incredible (ANI)
