Tennessee Educators Gather to See Cutting Edge Technology
Publish Date : 12/6/2004 2:32:00 PM Source : Education and Studies Onlypunjab.com
Administrators, teachers, principals, technology coordinators and superintendents will be attending the upcoming Tennessee Education Technology Conference in Nashville on Dec 2-3 to see everything under the technological sun. There area number of Audio Visual System integrators serving Tennessee’s schools; all will be competing earnestly for attention in the TETC Exhibition Hall. How does a school decide not only on the technology, but on the company with whom to do business? In the long run, the many brands of projectors, electronic whiteboards, visual presenters & document cameras, and digital hand-held microscopes are all fine examples of classroom teaching tools.
Multi-Media Solutions will be there, too, in a modest booth compared to some of the large displays other A/V companies invest in. “Honestly, the same types of technology will be shown in each A/V booth.” says MMS Marketing Director, Kathy Huber. “We invest more in live customer support and training for our team than we do in booth space.” she continued, alluding to the high number of MMS team members who have their CTS certifications, which require a sizable financial commitment. CTS certifications are awarded only after intense course-work and testing is completed, by the International Communications Industries Association, the audio visual industry’s recognized professional organization. “If a school wants to find a good resource for technology expertise, they only have to look at our list of clients in the TN education system. That tells the whole story.”
Multi-Media Solutions, Inc. is a 15 year old design and integration company offering audio visual technology solutions for commercial, industrial, education and government markets. MMS is a member of the national USAV Group consortium, and has recently been awarded a GSA contract for a comprehensive array of audio visual technology and components. MMS’s corporate headquarters are in Alcoa, with an additional sales office in Brentwood, TN. |
