For a third year in a row, The Boogie Men will welcome the New Year by hosting the biggest bash the suburbs have ever seen. At 8:30 p.m. on Friday, December 31, the Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield (375 Moorland Road, Brookfield) will give way to members of The Boogie Nation as more than 1,000 people bid farewell to 2004 with Milwaukee’s favorite Disco band.
This year’s show features entertainment by DJ Fireman Jim, Band X and The Boogie Men. In addition to the music, The Boogie Men have also arranged special room packages at the Sheraton, a Miller Lite prize giveaway courtesy of WOW Distributing and many other surprises that should not be missed.
“Our fans have supported us well this year,” reflects Dr. Detroit Goldenstone. “This New Year’s Eve we plan to throw the largest, funkiest soiree possible to show our appreciation for their continued support. Call the neighbors, folks. We guarantee this celebration will be like none other.”
From their Afro heads and platform-shoed feet, The Boogie Men epitomize the ‘70s like no one else. Over the past six years, this multi-award winning band has played an average of 100 live dates per year; with 2003 marking the milestone of 1 Million listeners.
