Fervent Software has spent years refining the technology at the heart of this system and Fervent's Rosegarden MUSIC Sequencer and Score is the flagship package on this product. Rosegarden MUSIC provides MIDI and audio sequencing, advanced score editing (featuring page layout and high quality output) as well as using Open Studio Technology (OST).

Open Studio Technology, including the powerful JACK audio connection kit and ALSA sound drivers, allows Rosegarden MUSIC to route audio to the JAMin mastering tool, to control the Hydrogen drum machine, and to interact with the other software included to offer a flexibility unfamiliar in the world of proprietary sequencing software. The CD also contains a large selection of audio plugins and virtual instruments, the Ardour Digital Audio Workstation, and CD ripping and burning software. Studio..to go! also allows you to make use of VST plugins and soundfonts that you may already be using with Microsoft Windows[tm.
