Now entering into international sales, American Tool Supply has massively dropped prices on all HVAC / Refrigeration Tools and Equipment, for the month of December, in order to boost initial sales.
International sales are expected to take off by mid January or early February. In order to counteract the expansion costs and bring in new customers, they have decided to drop prices on all of their product line, specifically the HVAC tools and equipment. This will allow them to quickly build an international customer database.
Pricing regulations forces them to equally drop prices on all domestic products as well, so local businesses will also benefit from the expansion. The busy holiday season should really help out with both the international and domestic sales.
Director of online sales, Pablo Samsing reported, "We've never had such a large cut in pricing, but we also know the value of an initial solid customer base, especially when starting to sell international". Furthermore he added , "Initially we started selling in South Florida, then, when we created the online store, http://www.americantoolsupplyinc.com , we started getting orders from the rest of the United States and the world. So we setup a site where we could accept payments and ship domestically. We have recently made the transition to only selling online, thus reducing overhead and being able to sell our products at incredibly low prices. Our transition to selling internationally was naturally the next step."
Wholesale prices are to remain the same since the retail pricing is just about the same as wholesalers, but certain bulk purchase prices can be arranged. Resellers should contact the sales department for the bulk purchase specials during this period. Applications for new resellers will be accepted through the 15th of December, then applications will again start being accepted February 1st, 2005.
