The 25th Annual South Florida Chassidic Chanukah Festival will take place Thursday, December 9th, 7:30 p.m. at the Football Stadium of McArthur High School,
6501 Hollywood Blvd., in Hollywood, Florida. The free festival features Avraham Fried, the King of Jewish Music, in a live concert.
Traditionally North America’s largest Chanukah event, the location has this year been moved from the Young Circle Bandshell, where the Chanukah Festival had been held for the past 24 years.
“With Young Circle undergoing an 11-million-dollar face-lift, we decided that the new venue for the 25th year should be bigger and better. The football stadium at McArthur High has three times the amount of seats as Young Circle, and we are planning for the largest turnout ever”, said Rabbi Raphael Tennenhaus, executive vice president of Chabad of South Broward.
Chabad of South Broward, celebrating their 25th, year are leaders in Jewish education, outreach and social services with 9 centers and over 25 agencies in ten Broward cities.
The Hollywood Football Stadium is 30 seconds from the turnpike, 3-1/2 miles from I-95 and 10 minutes from Young Circle.
