With the completion of this acquisition, the company will consolidate all of its cardiac monitoring functions, whether it be the innovative Telemetry@Home® service, the Digital Holter service, the Holter/ambulatory blood pressure or Cardiac Event Monitoring Service so they can all be marketed and supplied under the Cardiac Telecom brand name from the company’s headquarters and principal monitoring lab in Greensburg, PA.

There are potential cardiac patients and existing cardiac patients that may be diagnosed with many different modalities depending on their level of acuity and whether or not they are highly symptomatic. A good analogy might be found in the radiology world, some patients can be diagnosed with a standard X-ray, others may require a CTC, or an MRI, while yet others may require a PET scan.”

This acquisition now puts Cardiac Telecom in the top ten tier of the cardiac monitoring companies in the United States. In connection with this acquisition, Cardiac Telecom also acquired relationships with a national network of 130 sales representatives, through which it can market and sell all of its products and services.
