Dynegy Inc. (NYSE:DYN) today announced that Carolyn M. Campbell has been named Group General Counsel-Corporate Finance & Securities and Corporate Secretary. In this capacity, Campbell will be responsible for all corporate finance, transactional, securities and disclosure matters and will serve as a liaison between the Board of Directors, senior management and the company's shareholders. She will report to Dynegy's General Counsel, Carol F. Graebner.
Campbell, 43, has nearly 20 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities. She joins Dynegy from Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, where she served as Senior Counsel specializing in transactional work with a concentration in the energy industry.
Campbell received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Louisiana State University in 1982 and her Juris Doctorate in 1985 from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert School of Law as a member of the Order of the Coif. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Louisiana State Bar Association.
