Harry Major Machine & Tool Co. (HMM), an automation and washer manufacturer in Clinton Township, Michigan recently researched better ways to bring their products to the marketplace for mainly for the automotive and tier one suppliers. According to Bill Jurek, Materials Manager with HMM, the company recently implemented an ERP Software - Encompix from Cincinnati, Ohio with many outstanding results. “With this recent implementation, HMM is beginning to see the results of the software of internal process improvements, we are releasing the engineering products to closer scheduled requirements. The Encompix Engineer-to-Order (ETO) software has assisted in analyzing detail the material costs, schedules and releases to the floor to-build products on time and to the budgeted requirements.” In short the efficiency has improved in the HMM operation to allow better timing deliveries and results to their customers.
