At a Gourmet Gatherings cooking party you and your colleagues will gather around the stove while star chefs from acclaimed restaurants such as Postrio, Gary Danko and Hawthorne Lane introduce a delicious menu of recipes the group will prepare under their professional guidance. With good wine and festive music to set the mood, guests are divided into culinary teams to prepare the recipes from the evening’s list of gourmet dishes. Guests then savor the “fruits” of their labor with Gourmet Gatherings on-hand to serve them.

This holiday season, Gourmet Gatherings is raising a glass to celebrate its fifth anniversary. To honor this wonderful milestone and our fabulous clients, we’ve created two mouthwatering party options for groups as small as 10 and up to 60. Hosts may choose from one of our irresistible four-course menus to throw a more traditional “Gourmet Gatherings Dinner Party,” or create a casual atmosphere with our new “Holiday Hors d’oeuvres” party which features seasonal small plate dishes passed around hot-from-the-oven, cocktail-style. With each option, you’ll be treated to menus, which highlight the season’s freshest ingredients. Dishes might include: Wild Mushroom Crostini with Stilton and Thyme, Arugula and Persimmon Salad with Spicy Pecans, Molasses-cured Pork Chop with Caramelized Apples on a bed of Creamy Polenta and finally, Cranberry Brioche Bread Pudding with Warm Caramel Sauce.
