G-Force Music Label Group announced that In Due Season will release their self-titled EP on November 02, 2004. The project debuts with a continuously increasing fan base and major support from the music industry.
“We are ecstatic about the positive reaction the music industry and jazz enthusiasts are giving the disc,” said Lindsay Guion, In Due Season’s manager and executive producer. “Each cut is one to remember and this is just the beginning. Serious music lovers are in for a rare and well-deserved treat.”
The Maryland based group of five masterful musicians performed and wrote all but one song on the disc, which is the band’s jazzy rendition of “Let It Snow,” a song already deemed a Winter Season play list must. From the spicy Latin influenced “Paraiso” to the sultry haunting “Sauve” this disc is a tapestry of melodic grooves and soothing rhythms woven together with a stroke of genius.
The disc is enjoying airplay both nationally and international with radio stations such as WHUR in Washington, DC, and London, England’s Solar Radio, adding, “Bojangling” and “Love Unconditional” to its rotation. “I will continue to plug In Due Season to def, ”said Chrissy J of Solar Radio. “I’m already looking forward to the forthcoming disc.”
The band’s full-length album will be out late 2005. No word on what will be included, just a mention of one or more tracks with a surprise guest recording artist. With fans not being sure hat any of the songs on the disc making it on future IDS projects, this disc should quickly become an collector’s item, currently being sold exclusively at Borders Books Music Movies Café and online globally.
“This project is a culmination of each band members joy, sweat, tears and love for jazz,” remarked Billy Hugh Smith, Jr., lead guitar player. “ Although this journey was very personal for each one of us, we wanted to share our love affair with music with the World. This is our love song dedicated to the art of Jazz, the next project… well lets just say it will be a love affair.”
