Latest 'Carry on' film set for delay

Originally set for a Christmas release, "Carry On London", the 32nd "Carry On" film and the first in 12 years, has yet to begin shooting.
It has been confirmed that producer James Black and actors Shaun Williamson and Daniella Westbrook - former stars of the British soap opera, "EastEnders" - have left the project, reported the Guardian.
"Carry On London" relates the misadventures of a group of limousine chauffeurs driving celebrities to the fictional "Herbert" awards - a hilarious take on the BAFTA and the Oscars.
The franchise fizzled out after its heydays in the 1960s. But the format was briefly revived by a new generation of British comics for "Carry On Columbus" in 1992.
