MFRI, Inc. announced today that its Board of Directors has elected Executive Vice President Bradley E. Mautner to the position of President and to the newly-created position of Chief Operating Officer. MFRI's Chairman, David Unger, retains his responsibilities as Chief Executive Officer.
"Brad Mautner's election as President and Chief Operating Officer contributes to the continuity and succession of MFRI management," Unger said. "Brad earned both a Mechanical Engineering Degree and a Masters in Business Administration from Washington University in Saint Louis. He has devoted his entire career of over 25 years to the Company and its predecessors, steadily assuming greater responsibilities. He knows MFRI's businesses, and has earned the respect of the Company's Board of Directors and the senior management of its businesses," Unger continued.
In his new position, Mautner will be responsible for MFRI's day-to-day operations, while Unger will devotes his attention to special projects, corporate strategy and longer term considerations
