A monument has been proposed in Bihar for Satyendra Dubey, a young engineer killed last year after he informed the Prime Minister's Office of corruption in a major road project.
Minister for Law, Energy and Information and Public Relations Shakeel Ahmed Khan said here the 'Honesty Tower' to be built on a college campus in Gaya district to mark Dubey's first death anniversary will remind the young of honesty and the courage to uphold it.
"If Dubey is projected rightly he could emerge as a role model for the young generation because there is no role model for them," Khan told IANS.
The 32-year-old Dubey in his letter spoke of a nexus among corrupt officials, politicians and contractors in the prestigious Golden quadrilateral project's work. Dubey was killed in Gaya in Bihar on Nov 27, 2003.
