New York Interior Design's "It Girl", Emma Jane Pilkington brightens

Rising Star Interior Designer, Emma Jane Pilkington has been making waves recently around the globe. Pilkington is able to combine her passion for textiles and color with Classic design elements to create what has been described as “classic bohemian chic” throughout her interiors.

Pilkington is absorbed by influences as wide ranging as Uzbekistani Ikats and Swedish Neoclassism. This dichotomy is reflected in the tailored edge seen in her slightly eccentric interiors. Fascinated by both the purity of form, be it natural or designed and the patina of history inherent to each piece, Emma brings a fresh and unstudied face to her design projects. Her Bohemian flair and uncompromising eye for quality and detail have made Emma’s work much sought after in the U.S. and abroad.
