If you are local to Houston, Texas and surrounding areas, and would like to participate in the upcoming Fashion Show, or Casting Call for two indie films, HINN, by BG Films, and Playa' Hata's by Bomb Films, then join us for an opportunity to read from both scripts. The Casting Directors for these projects will narrow down their selections from our initial picks. Choosen actors and actresses will read for the producers doing the festival.

The Houston Black Film Festival is producing a fashion show scheduled for Sunday February 27th which will feature models from across the metropolitan and surrounding areas. The concept and plan of action is to provide mutually beneficial opportunities to the models representing the organization. The models will symbolize the beauty and ethnic diversity that African American and other minorities possess.

In addition, the festival invites Houston's finest talent to come out and become involved in this community event. Specfically, we are looking for opening acts for the gospel jamboree scheduled for Sunday Feb 27th, as well as the opening at for the R&B entertainment, Feb 26th during the Awards Gala. Houston is the fourth largest city in American which makes the network market incredible, and maximizes exposure.
