We've all seen the headlines: "Outsourcing America", "John Kerry Says He'll Put an End to 'Off- shoring' US Jobs", and "Are Too Many US Jobs Going Overseas?", but have we really stopped to look at the benefits of working with offshore companies?
According to a national New Delhi newspaper, "More than three-fourths of the value being created in the global economy through offshoring goes to the US and a receiving country like India gets only 22 percent, according to the latest McKinsey Research," and "By offshoring $1 of US labor costs, $1.45 to $1.47 of value is created globally.
While US captures $1.12 to $1.14 of the additional value being created by every dollar spent offshore."
