Templeton Global Income Fund ``GIM'' Announces Dividend

Templeton Global Income Fund (NYSE:GIM) today announced a distribution from net investment income of $0.1852. This amount is comprised of the Fund's regular monthly dividend from net investment income of $0.04 per share, and an additional year-end dividend from net investment income of $0.1452 per share. This distribution is payable on December 31, 2004 to shareholders of record on December 16, 2004 (Ex-Dividend Date: December 14, 2004).
