Wingstop Restaurant, Inc. the leading chicken wing chain, opened its first location in Rancho Cucamonga.
DKLD as One, Inc. opened the new Wingstop located in the Alta Loma Court at 7212 Archibald Avenue. Andrew and Kathy Stamps, the owners, say they have had a nice and steady crowd since opening weekend.
The chain features a nostalgic, aviation-themed atmosphere where the sole focus is on chicken wings. Featuring eight tantalizing wing flavors, including Original Hot, Cajun, Atomic (ranked #1 Extra-Hot sauce in America, 2004), Mild, Teriyaki, Lemon Pepper, Hawaiian Barbeque and Garlic Parmesan.
Customers can select from a variety of 28 domestic and imported beers, wine coolers and soft drinks. Equally tempting are the homemade side dishes: fresh-cut seasoned fries, bourbon baked beans, pearl potato salad, vegetable sticks, rolls and assorted dipping sauces.
The fact that one has to wait a little to be served indicates each order of wings is fresh always made-to-order and served steaming-hot. Wingstops are open from 4:00 p.m. to midnight Monday through Thursday and from 11:00 a.m. till midnight Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Orders can be phoned in to the new location at (909) 944-5572. The restaurant also offers party trays.
Wingstop has opened 195 restaurants and has over 176 under development in 26 states. In July 2004, the chain was ranked number four in Restaurants & Institutions’ ‘Top 400 Sales-Growth Leaders’ (the only wing chain in the top ten). For more information on Wingstop, visit http://www.wingstop.com.
