Roseanne Barr may be the next major star to settle down on the Las Vegas Strip if a hotel-casino will "show me the money," the comedian told the weekly celebrity-interview podcast "The Strip" this week.
The groundbreaking sitcom star has returned to the public eye with a new HBO special and a weekly Internet video call-in program. A Vegas gig akin to that of Celine Dion, Rita Rudner or Barry Manilow would cap her comeback, she said.
"I have a lot of family there, so it would be ideal," Barr told "The Strip" co-host Steve Friess, a Vegas-based freelance writer for USA Today, The New York Times and many others. "But I would have to go somewhere else in the summer or live in an air-conditioned tube. I've started to design that."
