Record Breaking Snow in Whistler, British Columbia

With over 3 months still to go in the season, Whistler has just surpassed our average annual snowfall of 10 metres / 396 inches / 33 ft per year on the summit, as measured at the Pig Alley Weather Station on Whistler Mountain (elevation 1,660 metres/ 5,445 feet). To date Whistler has received 1010cm (398 inches). In the last couple of days Whistler has received over 34 cm's (13 inches) of new snow. And it's still snowing. Over the next three days Whistler expects to receive 30cm (14inches) of fresh new snow.
