Orlando Airport Marriott Introduces Porterhouse Restaurant, an Authentic American Steakhouse

The Orlando Airport Marriott introduces a mouth-watering Orlando restaurant, PorterHouse (formerly Murphy's Chop House). The authentic American steakhouse inside the Orlando, Florida hotel offers fresh ingredients and carefully selected dry-aged U.S. Prime beef.
The PorterHouse menu, developed by Executive Chef Anthony Hull, features generously portioned, Midwestern corn-fed U.S. Prime aged steaks, fresh seafood, lamb and poultry.

"Many of our diners easily choose the Lobster Fritters with Five Mustard Sauce or Peanut Crusted Diver Scallops with Grape Tomato and Garlic Butter as their appetizer, but have difficulty deciding between our signature 22-ounce Porterhouse steak, tender Filet Mignon or flavorful bone-in Rib Eye for their main course," said Chef Hull. "The high-quality dry-aged beef we offer at PorterHouse is superior in flavor, texture and overall eating satisfaction when compared to traditional aging methods."

For steak and seafood lovers, the timeless Surf-and-Turf entrée at the Orlando American restaurant offers the choice of a 4- or 8-ounce center-cut Filet Mignon grilled to perfection, paired with a succulent 6-ounce cold water lobster tail. Tempting and hearty accompaniments in portions for sharing include Crunchy Scalloped Potatoes, Tumbleweed Onions, tender Asparagus and Wild Mushrooms. Freshly prepared dessert selections like home-style Bread and Butter Pudding or warm Chocolate Lava Cake with Vanilla Sauce complete an unforgettable meal.

The seasoned service staff at PorterHouse guides each guest through a detailed menu tour and offers personal suggestions to create a culinary experience with exceptional flavor. In traditional steakhouse style, the inviting dining room is decorated in rich wood accents, candlelit wall sconces and butcher paper table covers. Menu items are presented on artfully shaped plates adding unexpected design elements to classic steakhouse dining.
