The first company of its kind, AKE was set up in 1991 to address the specific needs of personnel previously unprepared for work in high-risk environments. Founded by a former member of the elite Special Air Service, the company takes a holistic approach to risk reduction by analyzing threat, investigating and educating on the ways to mitigate risk and providing direct support should the client require it.

Headed by Executive Director Tim Crockett, the office will act as a regional hub for AKE Group's operations in the Americas and will build on the company's extensive track record in the media, energy and finance sectors. The company will initially concentrate on the development of regional marketing, sales and support teams in a preliminary growth phase to address current and growing business.
