Building on the innovations of its precursor, version 3.1, refines the capabilities that led to the system being described as the “next generation in pre-employment assessment”. It offers enhancements in several areas, with improved job profiling capabilities and new formats for the assessments themselves.

The job profiling tool, SavvyExpert, was already capable of producing the most accurate assessments in the world, and has now been further upgraded to produce more detailed information on its findings which helps the interviewer.

“The new format of the test modules has created quite a stir among the first few customers who have already moved to the new version” says Charles Gray, Implementation Director at Effectivate. “The examinee experience seems to be even more enjoyable, and the time taken for the test sessions is significantly reduced, which means employers can assess more candidates than before”.

Most employers now agree that an assessment that relies only on a Personality questionnaire simply does not go far enough. SavvyRecruiter, with its mix of self-assessment personality and work-related attribute tests overcomes this limitation, and the reduced test duration means that applicants can be comprehensively assessed very quickly. Job suitability reports are automatically produced as soon as the candidate completes the assessment, so interviewers have all of the available information immediately.

The SavvyRecruiter system is also now fully available on a hosted Internet server, which offers enormous flexibility in where the assessments can be held – employers can invite applicants to sit the assessment wherever they have good internet access. It also minimises the IT requirements for Effectivate’s customers, eliminating the need to purchase any additional software, leaving the housekeeping aspects in Effectivate’s hands, and removing the need for customers to worry about anything other than doing their own job, which in this case is recruiting the most suitable people into their companies.
