CRSP (The Center for Research in Security Prices) will host its inaugural conference for academics and practitioners in finance, economics, accounting and investing from October 30–31 in Chicago.
Featuring a group of world-renowned speakers including Prof. Roger Ibbotson (Yale/Ibbotson/Zebra Capital), Prof. Elroy Dimson (LBS), Dr. Stefano Cavaglia (UBS O’Connor), Dr. David Blitzer (S&P) and Arlene Rockefeller (SSgA), the Forum allows for the sharing of new ideas and innovative solutions benefiting and influencing these fields.
Agenda
The CRSP Forum 2006 includes keynote sessions and panel sessions on global market developments, indices, oil and energy, and real estate. Over 60 paper presentation sessions cover the latest cutting-edge research on a variety of topics from portfolio strategies to risk. A roundtable highlights key issues and developments involving data in financial research. User Group sessions will cover CRSP data products including those in partnership with key partners such as Compustat, WRDS, and SAS. Networking events will provide attendees from the academic and investment communities with the opportunity to discuss new ideas, issues and trends. Attendee Registration Information
The CRSP Forum 2006 advance registration fee is $295 per person for corporate attendees and $150 for academic attendees until noon on October 16; late and onsite registration is $350 per person for corporate attendees and $200 for academic attendees. This fee includes the full conference and all sponsored events such as the evening reception at the Chicago Cultural Center, breakfast, lunch and breaks.
