Ms. Yang is experienced in the ever-changing field of toxic tort litigation. Her background in complex civil litigation has included work in lawsuits involving asbestos, silica, mold and other toxic torts. She has also provided guidance to companies in employment/labor law, sports and recreation law, professional liability, premises liability and product liability.

In one case, Ms. Yang was able to secure a published appellate opinion that overturned 60 years of legal precedent for California hockey teams and arena owners. When a spectator was struck in the face by a hockey puck, Ms. Yang defended the Los Angeles Kings, the National Hockey League (NHL) and the Great Western Forum against the spectator's personal injury lawsuit. While other professional sports enjoyed protection under the "spectator assumption of liability" doctine, hockey was not afforded that same protection. Ms. Yang's acumen and legal arguments changed all that, and helped ensure that professional hockey in California was protected against such lawsuits.

A native of South Korea, Ms. Yang has lived in the Los Angeles area for over three decades. She received her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating magna cum laude.
