After a successful launch in April of 2006, Annuity IQ had simply outgrown its previous site. "The makeover was long overdue," Scott DeMonte, owner of Annuity IQ said. Mr. DeMonte went on to say: "Even though we are only a year old, we have seen such tremendous growth in our membership base and since we are in the final stages of agreements with some of the bigger names in the insurance industry, it was time to grow." After receiving input from several web visitors and current members, the redesign was geared to make the site easier to navigate and give it better functionality. "We found our older design too cumbersome for many of our visitors and they, in turn, missed some valuable information," Mr. DeMonte said. With the redesign, Annuity IQ also has implemented new pages to the website. "We often heard our financial adviser visitors who came to our site say that they wanted information on fixed annuities. Based on that input, we have added a Broker Center on our free site," said Mr. DeMonte. Annuity IQ has added the Broker Center and fixed annuity information on their site with a list of products that they feel are the most consumer friendly. Also added, in the members area, is a new forum where members can ask questions for either Annuity IQ or other financial advisers who are members to answer. "The new design and new features added were a significant investment on our part, but we believe it will make our members and visitors much happier over the long term," Mr. DeMonte said.
