Strategro International Launches New Venture Group

Strategro International, LLC, a market entry and business growth group, today announced its launch of Strategro Ventures, an investment and management group. Strategro Ventures will take an active role in early stage companies, projects and technologies in Strategro's core sector areas, which include:
Health and Nutrition Technology: functional foods and ingredients, nutraceuticals, cosmeceuticals and dietary supplements.

Marine Biotechnology: includes marine bioprospecting, marine ingredients and value-added byproducts, and marine biotechnology.

Life Sciences: including fine chemicals, biochemicals, diagnostics and reagents.

"Through our experience working with high potential companies worldwide, we realized that there are significant opportunities found in underexploited technologies, and in helping early stage companies to capitalize on the rapidly growing international markets within our core sectors", said Rune G. Nilssen, a Partner with Strategro International in their Toronto, Canada office. "There is an increased demand for products related to functional foods, cosmeceuticals, and in particular, natural functional ingredients in the market place. We look to guide and take an active role in certain qualified opportunities, either through direct investment or equity compensation".
