CallCommand™, a leading provider of web-based solutions that increase customer retention, loyalty and automobile dealer profitability, announced today the appointment of Donald Daniels, former VP Marketing, to Vice President of Strategic Planning. In his new role Daniels will be responsible for sales, operations and client support for all non-Automotive business including home improvement, schools, municipalities, independent services, telecom, real estate and financial services. He will be based out of CallCommand's corporate office in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Among the new responsibilities assigned to him, Daniels will leverage his many years of marketing expertise to help increase market penetration for CommunitySafe, powered by CallCommand, an instant alert and communications system that allows for the dissemination of vital information to citizens (or communities) quickly and effectively. More than 200 schools, municipalities and organizations are currently utilizing the system. Some sample partners include Cincinnati Bell, the Buckeye Association of School Administrators (BASA) and REACH USA Voice.
"In just two years Don has developed new markets both domestically and internationally in several different verticals, including telecommunications, home improvement, insurance and non profit. Most significantly, he has built a foundation for growth in the CommunitySafe business with the acquisition of thousands of users nationwide that accounted for nearly 1 million communications in the first quarter of 2007. Daniels previously served for 15 years at Cincinnati Bell, where he most recently held the position of Vice President of Marketing; responsible for market planning and strategy, advertising, public relations, community relations and market intelligence for all Cincinnati Bell retail markets and products, a $1B business. While at Cincinnati Bell, Daniels launched the nation's first bundled product offering of wire line, wireless, long distance and data. He directed marketing strategies that produced best-in-class penetrations and industry leading customer retention. Daniels also created market communication and offers that led to six JD Power awards in three years. Daniels holds a BBA degree in Marketing from the University of Cincinnati.
