Tumi, the leading international brand of luxury travel, business and lifestyle accessories, introduces the Townhouse Collection, featuring luxury luggage, carry-on and overnight bags with a new, sophisticated sensibility for the brand. Designed for the discerning consumer, who appreciates the highest standards of luxury luggage and business cases, the Townhouse Collection offers exceptional materials and craftsmanship. David Chu, Tumi`s Executive Creative Director explains, "With this new collection, we are creating a new design language for Tumi that is inspired by the glamour of travel as seen in vintage movies, photography and fashion."
The Townhouse Collection includes both hard and soft luggage styles. The new hard-sided travel cases are handcrafted in Italy and feature boxed wood construction. Available in Tumi`s traditional ballistic nylon with vachetta leather trim, the group includes a carry-on case, attaché and two wheeled trunk styles for modern ease. All are lined in linen and feature hand polished nickel hardware.
Soft luggage styles range in size from 20 to 26 inches, both wheeled and non-wheeled. This larger group includes wheeled and non-wheeled garment bags, gym bag, matching travel kit and a tie case. Two carry-on duffels in 18 and 22 inches in ballistic nylon with black leather trim and silver nickel hardware round out the collection. Price points range between $450 for a carry-on satchel to $2,900 for a hard sided trunk. The Tumi Townhouse luggage collection is available in stores and at www.Tumi.com.
