Lignano Sabbiadoro is a well-known seaside resort, but its origin is recent.
In 2003 the city was only 100 and during this little time, Lignano changed itself from barren land to important tourist bathing establishment.
At the beginning 1900 Lignano has a beautiful golden sandy beach and a blooming pinewood, which obstruct the access to the shore. The only way to reach it, is using boats.
During the years different state and private initiatives allow the building of lines of communication, permitting the access by land to the seaside resort.
In this period rise accommodation facilities, such as little hotels and refreshment stands. The life of the seaside resort begins and immediately rich families of neighbouring towns build residential properties as well as apartments in Lignano, to spend the summer season on the beach. The real building and tourist boom assails the town in the fifties.
In few time Lignano changes totally: to lodge tourists the resort fills up with accommodation facilities, especially with flats.
Different blocks of flats rise in Sabbiadoro, instead a lot of villas and apartments are located in Lignano Pineta, characterized by the green pinewood.
This dizzy and often uncontrolled growth continues until the end of the sixties, building the modern aspect of Lignano rich of different flats and real-estate agencies.
The majority of these accommodation facilities have been modernized in the last period to be abreast of the times and to better answer tourists needs.

It was set in 1969 and today works in selling, buying and letting holiday flats as well as residential properties.
Good quality and renewal are, in fact, result of the italian trend: a smaller quantity of accommodation facilities in exchange for a better quality and additional services.
For this reason the Bčlanger agency decided to renew its apartments in Lignano and also to offer some beach-front flats for the next summer, allowing an easier access to the sea and to public services located in the city centre.
The value for money is becoming very important also in the tourist area, because guests give money in exchange for high quality and good additional services.
Following this trend Lignano must pay attention to accommodation facilities and tourist offers renewal, so that to reflect guests needs.
